Was That a Rare ‘Bird’ in the Fig Tree?!

If you were around Ground yesterday, did you spot the elusive Orange-vested Sapiens that were hanging out in the Small-leaved Fig tree with the swing?

No. Those were not endangered species.

They were just a couple of tree doctors who paid a visit to give the tree a health check – a couple of aging branches near the swing area were removed to keep the area safe.

We’re also continuing to put together our plan to improve the health of the swales around the commercial precinct and are keen to be a test site for the steam weeding method. We’ll keep you posted.

There’s more to come from Ground, so follow us, Ground Currumbin, on Instagram or Facebook to keep up on the latest.
